  Dative case is mostly used after such verbs as: "kupić coś komuś" (to buy something to someone), "sprzedać coś komuś" (to sell something to someone), "dać coś komuś" (to give something to someone, or: to give someone something), "dziękować komuś" (to thank someone), "życzyć komuś" (to wish someone). The noun in the dative case is an indirect object in the sentence.
