PAST TENSE
The forms of the past tense consist of the past tense stem and the personal endings.
In the singular, there are three genders: masculine, feminine, and neuter, although the neuter form is used nowadays only in the third person. In plural, there are two genders: virile and non-virile. The virile gender is used when one talks about a group of persons consisting either of men only, or men and women. The non-virile is used when one talks about a group consisting either of women only, or animals, or objects.
